Refund policy

IBoat Marine offers a wide range of marine products and services, including accessories, electronics, EVA flooring, custom fabrication, and installation work. Because each category has different handling, manufacturing, and installation requirements, return and refund rules vary by product type.

This Master Policy serves as the general guideline, but category-specific policies shown on individual product/service pages override this policy when applicable.

1. GENERAL RETURN & REFUND RULES

  • Returns are accepted only for eligible products and within the specified return window.

  • To qualify for a return:

    • The item must be unused, uninstalled, and in its original condition.

    • All original packaging, manuals, and accessories must be included.

    • A valid proof of purchase (invoice/receipt) must be provided.

  • Refunds are issued only to the original payment method.

  • Shipping fees, installation fees, and handling fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

2. NON-RETURNABLE / NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS

Due to the nature of marine customization and installation, the following items cannot be returned or refunded:

2.1 Custom-Made or Customized Products

  • EVA flooring / decking (cut, measured, or processed)

  • Upholstery, stitching, and fabrication work

  • Custom-made covers, cushions, panels, or metal works

  • Items made according to customer measurements or boat drawings

2.2 Installed or Used Products

  • Any product that has been installed, mounted, applied, or altered

  • Adhesives, tapes, mounting hardware used during installation

2.3 Electrical & Electronic Items

  • Marine electronics (GPS, radios, depth sounders, fish finders)

  • Electrical items once opened or installed

  • Damaged electronics due to improper wiring or customer handling

2.4 Clearance, SALE, or Special Order Items

  • Final sale items cannot be returned or refunded

  • Special imported items are non-refundable once ordered

2.5 Services

  • Consultation, inspection, installation, or labor charges

  • Any service already provided or partially completed

3. RETURN ELIGIBILITY BY CATEGORY

3.1 Ready Stock Marine Accessories

Eligible for return within 3 days if:

  • Unused

  • Unopened

  • In original condition

3.2 Electronics (Uninstalled Only)

Eligible for return within 3 days only if:

  • Unopened, unused, and factory-sealed

  • No signs of installation or wiring attempts

    Electronics that have been installed cannot be returned.

3.3 EVA Flooring (Highly Restricted Return Policy)

  • EVA sheets cannot be returned once cut, processed, measured, or customized.

  • If cancellation occurs before cutting: a 10 KD/sqm deduction applies.

  • After cutting: no refund under any circumstances.

3.4 Boats, Engines, and Large Equipment

  • Governed by supplier or distributor policy.

  • Deposits for custom orders or reservations are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.

  • Returns accepted only for manufacturing defects under warranty.

4. CANCELLATIONS

Before Fulfillment

Eligible orders may be canceled if:

  • Items are not custom-made

  • Processing has not begun

  • Product has not been installed or prepared

Custom or Special Orders

  • Cannot be canceled after production has started.

  • EVA flooring cancellation before cutting: 10 KD/sqm charge.

  • After cutting: no cancellation possible.

5. REFUND APPROVAL PROCESS

To start a return request, customers must:

  1. Contact IBoat Marine within the allowed timeframe

  2. Provide the invoice or proof of purchase

  3. Provide photos/videos of the product in unused condition

  4. Allow inspection when necessary

IBoat Marine reserves the right to approve or reject any return that does not meet the policy criteria.

6. REFUND PROCESSING TIMELINE

  • Approved refunds take 7–14 working days to process.

  • Refund timelines may depend on bank processing speed.

  • Cash-on-delivery orders, if refundable, will be refunded via:

    • Bank transfer

    • Store credit (if preferred or required)

7. SHIPPING COSTS FOR RETURNS

  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to:

    • Wrong item delivered

    • Manufacturer defect

  • Shipping fees paid at checkout are non-refundable.

8. DAMAGES & DEFECTIVE RETURNS

If a product arrives damaged:

  • Customer must report within 24 hours with photos/video.

  • IBoat Marine will inspect and determine eligibility.

  • For defective items under warranty, replacements or repairs will follow the manufacturer warranty or IBoat Marine warranty policy.

Damage caused by:

  • Improper installation

  • Misuse

  • Negligence

  • Weather exposure

  • Accidents

    …will not be covered.

9. POLICY OVERRIDES

Some products and services have special return/refund rules listed on the product page.
If there is any conflict, the product/service-specific policy overrides this Master Policy.

10. CUSTOMER AGREEMENT

By completing a purchase on our website, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You have read and understood the return and refund policy.

  • You agree to the category-specific rules of the product/service purchased.

  • You accept that customized and installed products are not eligible for returns or refunds.
